Overview

Cole is a trial lawyer with experience resolving complex issues in a wide range of disputes. He has tried nearly thirty cases, developed strategy on virtually all aspects of litigation, and handled numerous appeals as lead counsel. His clients have included government officials as well as companies involved in art and entertainment, energy production, pharmaceutical products, and transportation, among other industries. Cole’s previous experience also includes the prosecution of serious violent crime.

Cole grew up in Cincinnati and received his bachelor of arts from Denison University and his juris doctorate from Washington and Lee University School of Law. After law school, he began his legal career overseas handling cases involving humanitarian conflicts before the international courts in The Hague, Netherlands before moving to the American Southwest to work on litigation in the energy industry. Outside of the office, Cole enjoys spending time with his family. He also enjoys hiking with his dogs, is an avid rock climber, and is a self-described "mediocre" golfer. Currently, Cole is enjoying exploring Austin and making Texas home for him and his family.
