Overview

Ameen Behbahani is a litigation attorney with experience spanning regulatory compliance, business formations, commercial disputes, and insurance defense. A native of Plano, Texas, Ameen earned his Master’s degree in Dispute Resolution from Southern Methodist University, focusing on negotiation and mediation, before graduating from Oklahoma City University School of Law. While in Oklahoma, he co-founded a law firm and conducted hundreds of mediations across district courts throughout the state. After returning home to Dallas with his wife—also an attorney—Ameen joined a well-known insurance defense firm where he handled complex litigation matters.

At Fletcher, Farley, Shipman & Salinas, Ameen’s practice includes insurance defense, premises liability, personal injury, commercial trucking, and construction defect litigation.

Before law school, Ameen played defensive line for the University of Houston, lettering all four years. Having spent his athletic career “in the trenches,” he brings that same grit, resilience, and work ethic to his legal practice, committed to advancing his clients’ interests with focus and determination. Outside of work, Ameen enjoys live music, attending sporting events, traveling, playing fetch with his dogs, Otis and Ellie, and cooking with his wife.
