Overview

Growing up in the Texas Hill Country as the son of a Sergeant Major, Anthony appreciates the importance of attention to detail, while his German mother’s stories of crossing the Berlin Wall sparked his interest in the world beyond Central Texas. So, he studied Russian Literature at the University of Texas at Arlington and Saint Petersburg, Russia, taught English in Xi’an, China, backpacked across India and Europe, and, inspired by his sister’s legal career, obtained a law degree in Austin.

After attending the University of Texas School of Law on a full academic scholarship, Anthony has collected experiences in various areas of the law. From reinsurance to employment law to fighting against local governments to protect his clients’ property rights, he uses creativity to find ways around obstacles and grit to drive through them. Having started a small company before law school, he understands the importance of minimizing legal obstacles and byzantine regulations.

When not finding satisfaction in unknotting his clients’ legal conundrums, Anthony teaches a course at the University of Texas at Dallas, cooks, writes fiction, and tries to entertain his two cats—Bruegel and Sardine.
